Since June 2019 THOMAS RENNER is Head of the Directorate “Innovation and Digitalization” in the German Federal Ministry of Health. Before he was Head of the Division “General Aspects of Health Policy, Financing and Statistics” for several years. Prior to his work at the Federal Ministry of Health Renner worked for the International Labour Organization in Geneva. From 2000-02, Renner worked in the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. Renner holds a degree in economics and studied at the University of Regensburg and the University of Bonn.
